About

What Good Food Online Is Really About

Good Food Online is about travelling well, eating exceptionally well and learning from experience.

It is not a recipe site, a standard place-review site or an influencer blog. There are already plenty of those, and most people now know how to find restaurant reviews, hotel ratings, beach guides and recipes online.

What is harder to find is honest, practical judgement from people who have actually done the trip, made the booking, travelled the route, lived with the motorhome, changed the way they do things and learned what really makes a journey better.

We are interested in the things that genuinely improve travel: exceptional food, memorable places, smarter booking decisions, useful stops, local producers, practical motorhome changes and the small lessons learned through experience.

Sometimes the lesson is a big one, such as realising that the same luxury resort, at the same price, can give a completely different holiday depending on how it is booked. A direct flight, an earlier arrival and more days away may matter far more than a business-class connection that looks better on paper.

Sometimes the lesson is much smaller, such as fitting a low-wattage microwave, using an air fryer, creating a magnetic spice rack or adding proper soap and shampoo dispensers to make the motorhome work better for the way we travel.

Those are the kinds of stories that belong here.

Good Food Online is not about seeing everything, reviewing everywhere or photographing every meal. It is about sharing what was genuinely worth knowing.

Would we go back?

Would we recommend it to friends?

Did it make the journey better?

Was it genuinely worth the journey?

That is the test.

Our Approach

No Adverts. No Clickbait. No Hard Sell.

Good Food Online was not created to chase clicks, build a subscriber list or sell things.

You will not find banner adverts, pop-ups, sponsored clutter, fake “must-have” lists or articles written simply because they might perform well online.

We are not influencers, and we are not trying to turn every journey into content.

The site exists because we enjoy travelling well, eating well and sharing the practical lessons we have learned along the way.

If we recommend a place, a route, a stop, a campsite, a product or a way of doing something, it is because we genuinely think it is worth passing on.

No pressure. No selling. No nonsense.
