Not every place that stays with you is famous. In fact some famous places we have been to were very forgettable and we wish we hadn’t bothered. Yet some gems will stay with us forever!!
Some are well-known landmarks, historic towns or beautiful beaches. Others are small harbours, quiet viewpoints, scenic roads, local walks, villages, markets or unexpected stops that simply made a journey better.

One of the joys of travelling is taking the road you did not originally plan to take.
